Kids’ gear that we love
Our Osprey hiking backpack - we wouldn’t be able to survive hiking without this gem! We love that it has a sun shade, is customizable to the size of the person wearing it, has storage and that our little one is securely buckled in. Both of our kids have enjoyed riding in this backpack on hikes (they are so comfy, a few naps have even been taken in it!). If you need to carry a little one, this is the backpack.
Snack cups - these are perfect on the trail, in the car, on-the-go for little hands to easily hold and carry without spills.
Bentgo box - easy to pack lunch in without always using plastic!
Toy bins - Each of our kids has one of these for the RV since we are limited on space that they use to store all of their toys. This is also great for travel days since they are already packed up in one location. The handles made it easy for them to take them from one room to another and being fabric, they also travel well.
Baby Jogger City Mini GT Stroller - I researched stroller brands for hours and hours before our first baby and this stroller has been so awesome! It has real tires (not the cheap plastic kind), so it can handle pretty much any terrain.
A bike is a real plus for campground living and since our one year old isn’t big enough for a bike yet, she loves this car that is easy for her to join in on the family walks safely!
Reusable water cups - this is a no brainer, but these are our favorites. And always fun when the kids can pick their favorite characters!
Ergobaby Omni 360 All-position Carrier - some places we’ve been (like national parks with caves), don’t allow the Osprey hiking backpack due to it’s size and low cave ceilings, so we still love the Ergo for these times when your little one isn’t quite big enough to walk a whole trail yet. We also love it for around town/amusement parks, etc.
Leather backpack - I bought this on whim when I needed a new backpack, but this one has turned out to be perfect for functionality, size and style!
Busy Baby Silicone Eating Mat - this was gifted to us with our second and oh my goodness, it’s so helpful! It keeps the one year old entertained while waiting for food, suctions to the table so she can’t make as big of a mess and is so easy to clean! We take it EVERYWHERE.
Magnetic Building Tiles - these are so easy for our kiddos to get out and play with for hours on a rainy day or a day where we are stuck inside the RV (like the crazy sandstorn day in New Mexico!). They only take up one small bin since they stack up so nicely, so it’s a win-win!
Our 5-year-old has so much fun with this camera. He loves having a camera of his own to take on adventures and take pictures of what he thinks is picture-worthy! It’s also fun to see what all he takes pictures of and how he sees his little corner of the world.
This is our favorite family game! It takes up basically no space, so it’s perfect for RV life.
Hook on Chair with Removable Dining Tray - this chair hooks right onto our RV table and is so helpful & space-saving for our one year old.
SwiimZip Wide Brim Sun Hat - we love these hats for hiking and for the beach - easy to fold & pack and dry quickly.
